Hi and welcome to my website!  Let me begin by sharing with you a little bit about myself and my photography journey.

 

As a retiree for over 2 years now, I'm so excited to be embarking on a second career as a child/family photographer.  So, my love of picture taking began several decades ago with the arrival of our first child coupled with the purchase of a Pentax 35mm camera and a roll of Kodak film.  Subsequently, after adding 2 more children to our family, I was promoted from a stay-at-home mom position to official family photographer. Lucky me! Surrounded by the cutest little faces 24/7, I quickly honed my photography skills, realizing I was not only capturing but also preserving so many of our children's memories from childhood. At that time, the printed picture was king and oh boy, I did not hold back! 

 

Fast forward to 2018, I made another camera purchase (Nikon DSLR) and embraced the digital photography world.  I started once again photographing "cute little faces" but not my own children this time  but my grandchildren. How wonderful-right!?!

 

A seemingly natural progression of this family work led to my photographing more family, friends and  neighbors (for free).  All wonderful, skill building experiences, which I absolutely loved and cherish.

 

So now here I am today, aiming to provide you with some beautiful family pictures as well.  Pictures that capture not just a moment but also the love, closeness and joy that's such an integral part of family life.
